Enrollment

Thank you for your interest in attending Sequoia High School. Registrations for the 2026-27 school year are now being accepted.

2025-26 Registration is now closed.

Sequoia Enrollment Process

Sequoia High School offers a small, supportive environment focused on choice, equity and relationships. With a small community of students, we meet them where they are and help them thrive!

We highly encourage students and parents/guardians/significant adults to attend a drop-in, optional, in-person information session on any one of the following dates. Upon arrival, please sign-in at the SHS main office to be directed to the presentation location.

The following drop-in informational sessions are for enrollment information for the 26-27 school year:

  • Wednesday, April 15th, 2:00-3:00
  • Wednesday, April 29th, 2:00-3:00
  • Wednesday, May 20th, 2:00-3:00
  • Wednesday, June 3rd, 2:00-3:00

Please note: The Registrar will be on Summer Break June 22 - August 5th, 2026. On Thursday, August 6th, she will begin to process new enrollment inquiries that are received over the summer.

How to Enroll at Sequoia High School

  • Sequoia High School is now a direct enrollment alternative high school, similar to the other district high schools. However, after applying, students will be completing an enrollment review process that usually takes 5–7 days to see if SHS is able to adequately meet that student's needs.

  • SHS is one of Everett School District's Choice Schools and is open to all students living within any area of the ESD boundaries, so neighborhood school boundaries within the ESD do not exclude students from enrollment. However, SHS is currently closed to out-of-district transfers.

  • Each student is in one of two groups below:

Transportation Note: SHS does not have regular school bus routes. Upon request, students are given an ORCA card to ride public transportation or they can walk, drive themselves, or find other ways to and from school. If you have questions about transportation options, please contact our office at 425-385-5100.
